Just watched this live again the other day and my gosh, still incredible. I think this movie is the perfect example of a movie being ahead of its time. The cinematography and visual effects draw you in a little too much for a movie made in 2006. Highly recommend to anyone, don’t really have to be a fan of a specific genre to appreciate it.

I thought the movie was pretty good. Not great. But yes, I recently watched something from the early 2000s the other day and was seriously annoyed by it. Not necessarily the content of the film but how it was done just like every other movie from that era. This one definitely feels different. They did a great job at sucking you into a world of their making, and making it totally believable.
