I would never count Kongo out in an MMA match. That's because of his ability to wall and stall guys mercilessly without even putting up an appearance of landing offense, all the while fouling guys from the position and never getting points taken for it.

If Kongo made it to the scorecards, he would do better than N'Gannou did for sure. Much more strategy savvy.

Exactly. His best wins were as a middle of the pack heavyweight. He's a veteran and has some good wins but he's never been a top contender.

Sharing Kongo's recent records pointless because there is no real quality there. Kongo missed his moment and Stipe is far superior.

Kongo wouldn't be able to do anything to Stipe. He always tries to wrestle guys with any striking whatsoever, and his chin is mediocre.

He might not gas, that's about the best I could say about him.

Kongo lost 2 of his last 3 UFC fights by 1st round KO. He's only looking better now due to weak competition in Bellator. Stipe wins this fight easily, and beats Kongo everywhere. Kongo's wall-n-stall strategy doesn't work against wrestlers. LHW King Mo beat him, and a green Cain also beat him years ago. Even Heath Herring outgrappled him. Kongo's kickboxing has declined over the years, so holding people against the cage is about all he has now.
