Chess - Path towards World Chess Championship (Gukesh Dommaraju vs Ding Liren)

usually my first game after waking up always goes south on me, but poor charlie. him being left in a completely vulnerable position and already being down a rook and now a bunch of other material, he didn't think that i would exchange rooks with him anymore, despite me making several rejected trade offers to him beforehand.

and then he didn't think that i would sack my other rook for his pawn. surprise surprise motherfucker. little did charlie know that my rook meant nothing to me in the grand scheme of things. i then sat his king in the cuck chair and made him watch helplessly as i promote my pawns and mount a 4 queen assault on his punk ass.

and here it is folks, the highlight of my week. i threw up the quadruple bongcloud. buddy was shook. so he just started losing pieces man.

i psyched this mofo out most definately because right before i forked his rooks he took my pawn instead of my knight. and then he allowed me to take his other bishop while still having both of his rooks under attack the whole time. guaranteed he never would have made those mistakes if i used a traditional chess opening, but that debauchery of mine completely threw him off of his game.

not even magnus or the hindu guy with the 50 letter last name have ever won a game using that kind of opening. i'm trademarking this shit. hail to the king baby!

Nicely done. When he pushed pawn to f3 on move 11, you could have pretty much destroyed him with qh4. Either way, Chuck wasn't ready for that hammer.

i've found someone out there who is drunker than i am!

i was a move away from being mated with no other way out and then i made the most glorious queen sacrifice i've ever made to try to dig myself out of the position somehow, but buddy didn't see it and moved his king instead of taking my unprotected queen with his unprotected queen. boom sucker! he then resigned in shame.

that was a bold move cotton.

Aman Hambleton's got a new Speedrun out. On the Queen's Gambit, one of my favorite openings for white. His previous ones have been great. Learned quite a few tricks from him. Highly recommend.

He made a pretty hilarious error before that. When he pushed his pawn to d4 on move 20, I assumed he was making room for his bishop on d3, which would have been a nightmare. Then you pushed to d5 and he went to b3.

{<huh}

looking at it now i could have probably saved my position by going pawn to f5 when i had the mate threat. i didn't see it then all i seen was an incoming mate. but lol at the way that i unblundered my queen. buddy had to have been pissed.

f5 was probably the best move regardless, but at the end of the exchange he would have had two clear passed pawns. Although, I suppose he could have found a way to mess that up. Yeah, the queen blunder dual was pretty hilarious.

in a game that was starting to go south on me i forced this dude into trading both of his rooks for mine, leaving me with just a king on the board against his king and 3 adjacent pawns.

well at that point the game should be over and i should just resign right?

oh hell no! art of the draw baby! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Unreal. I'l never understand why someone that clearly has no idea what they're doing is blitzing out moves with four minutes on the clock. I had a good laugh when he pushed his pawn to a7 though.

Nothing better than resigning on the spot while up material.

first game in and this dummy decided to entrap his queen just to win a pawn lol

alright i've been on a losing skid but now this just made my day. buddy was offering a queen exchange and threatening to ruin my upcoming attack on him. seeing how i could fork his queen and king through my knight if only i could get his bishop off of d6 i decided to just try to sack my bishop to see if his bishop would take it, and take it he did. buddy then walked out holding his head in shame.

amateur hour chess at its finest.

cue the oh no! song.

i just entered myself into the art of the draw in the most embarassing way possible.

i'm fucking choked. after all the work i put in just to asshole this guys shit this is how it's gonna play out? fuck this game!

The chess equivalent of Frye-Takayama.

Don't worry. You'll have plenty of opportunities to queen four pawns in the future.
