Charlie Sheen was a good actor. He could have had a DiCaprio type career at one time but the dude has always had serious problems. His life is tragic and I wish him all the best. Peace.

He's excellent in Platoon. He was right there to be a great young actor. I alway thought if Ray Liotta wasn't the lead in Goodfellas that Charlie Sheen could have had an equal perfomance of that character. Plus others.... wasted talent imo.

I need to watch Platoon again. I haven't seen it in YEARS. Many of the other movies you mentioned weren't really "his" movies so to speak, but sure, he was fine in them. Good call on Major League though, I forgot about that one.

But ultimately, what it really comes down to is that there's always just been something about him that's kept me from really giving a shit or really finding him that likable. I don't know what it is. Some actors are just like that. I find myself feeling the same way about Patrick Wilson right now, even though I'm loving Fargo and I really liked Bone Tomahawk.

These was always gossip the Charlie was balling model Izabel Goulart for a short time. This would be the only legit hot girl he managed to bang. Joking aside, with the above comment - does anyone remember that thread about the guy who was, I think HIV positive (or some other pretty nasty ultimately fatal std). He posted he was positive but carried on with his MMA/BJJ training without the knowledge of his sparring partners.

That was some pretty bad shit and stirred some reaction on here. It was a few years ago and got pulled.

Point being you just never know who has da HIV. Maybe they should all be tattood on the forehead?
