Charles has proved he has good offensive wrestling. I think he's a very bad matchup for Conor. I think Conor taps probably. But this LW division is gonna be about stylistic matchups. Not sure there's a clear best LW right now. Charles earned the belt and deserves to be champ, and I would love to see him defend it. That's a tall order in this division. I think he definitely has the skills to do it though.

I'd favor Charles, he has better grappling, and good standup plus the threat of takedown. Also he is as tall as Conor and has as much reach, thus Conor doesn't have a size/reach advantage over Charles like he does against most opponents.

But if he says fuck it and forces the takedown, he chokes McGregor in moments.

Firstly, I see very little evidence of conor working on his mma skills? He's not putting himself in the wheelhouse or improving as hero need to..

Anyone who follows Oliveira knows he trains extremely hard, and he has been working relentlessly on his muay thai..

Charlie would wear McGregor with his pace then sub him, finishes McGregor in the first or second.

tbh Conor wouldn't even a bunch of unranked lightweights like Gamrot and Guram.

He's not a ranked caliber LW fighter, period. He only has that #9 ranking because of his popularity.

Conrat would actually be a very dangerous fight for Oliviera especially in the 1st round.

Oliviera is a KO waiting to happen.. not hating and I'm very happy for the guy and I hope he is getting paid.. but man his head is right there to get tee'd off on.

He has excellent offense and is dangerous anywhere but his defense against a pin point striker like Conor could be disastrous.

Conor hasn't been a pin point striker for quite some time now.

He overextends punches. No jabs, no combination. Combined with how his power doesn't have much effect in the lw, i would say it's not enough to put olivera away.
