Charles Oliveira Please

If Poirier can get as closes as he did with the guillotine, you think Charles couldn't snatch his anaconda or d'arse?

Charles is like Cowboy, looks amazing until he gets to an important fight then completely shuts down.

I think Charles has turned a corner in his career, well see over the next year if he is champion material

Only real threats at the moment
Tony Ferguson
Gaethje
Cerrone
Gregor Gillespie
Oliviera

One would think a really good striker would give khabib trouble....gaethje has good standup, but dustin ko'd him and look what khabib did to dustin....while gaethje is said to have goo tdd...I seriously doubt that will matter much...he will get taken down and beaten like the rest...khabib has this unique ability to evade strikes. he could beat cerrone, without even taking him down...I'm now convinced of that...cerrone doesn't have the cardio to last more than 2 rounds with khabib...gillespie, I haven't seen enough of him to really know...I know he's a good wrestler....but he needs to face some better fighers.

Gregor is way too small. Quit with this fucking narrative that he is any kind of threat

Lmao you need to quit with the asinine narrative that Gillespie is too small but Conor isn't. The guy has wrestlefucked his way into the top 10 for a reason.

Khabib vs Tony then GSP then he will retire unless he loses
If we are going to wait for Khabib vs GSP you'd better be prepared for a long wait.. (Not disagreeing with you, just skeptical over that GSP part)

It seems that the UFC is content to match Do Bronx up in pointless rematches for the remainder of his career. He's at least 5 wins away from a title shot, too.

That being said, does he have a fight booked? Is it against Nik Lentz?

Oliveria:

- Submitted by Lamas
- Submitted by Pettis
- Destroyed by Felder ground and pound

Olivera would get smashed like a fuckin wrecking ball hit him but it’d be a fun as hell fight to watch.

He is one of the best pure wrestling guys in the whole organization. He also is a finisher with suitable boxing and terrific finishing instincts. But he is a featherweight simply because his build . I'm a fan of his and usually he is can't miss in the cage. But people like Cowboy or Felder even are way too big for him

Big Oliveira fan but he's a frontrunner and he'll wilt pretty quickly. Khabib might actually get a first round finish.

I agree that he has one of the better chances of catching Khabib in a sub. But I still think that chance is unlikely. And he doesn't have the durability to last when the finish doesn't come early. Tony Ferguson does.

I think Ferguson, Gaethje, and Gregor Gillespie have the best chances against Khabib. Ferguson because he's great everywhere, unpredictable, doesn't go away, and is a finisher. Gaethje because his pressure, TDD, and striking should be a problem for Khabib. And Gillespie for similar reasons to Gaethje, albeit to a less extreme degree.

Interesting because in his last fight Gillespie ran over a fighter who has fought at middleweight and was apparently big enough to fight Cerrone.

You know who is a middleweight because of his build? Cormier. Still became the HW champ though. When are you guys going to learn that size only matters when everything else is equal? Conor fought at featherweight and is apparently worthy of both his initial title shot and a rematch. If a featherweight with no wrestling background and a history of tapping is worthy to fight Conor, then you are a fool to claim Gillespie isn't. He is by far the most interesting stylistic matchup for Khabib.

Oliveira has one round of hard grappling in him. Then he gasses out and gets submitted. Have you not watched his fights before? Lol even Pettis has a better chance than Oliveira.

the guy is possibly an even bigger quitter than Pettis

He would probably give up after being dominated for 2 rounds
