Its just marketing talk. We shouldn't expect JG to say "I largely don't deserve this title shot and I have a poor record against ranked opponents" leading up to the fight, although its all true.

They are saying the only thing you can about a guy approaching a dozen fight win streak, which is 'well he used to lose some fights.'

I most certainly enjoyed Do Bronx casually walking through JG and knocking out Chandler in under 2 rounds. If he point fought and was risk averse he could beat those guys in later rounds and a bit cleaner, but he knows he's a full level above them and jumps in the fire to take their heads off.

Truly Do Bronx is a fighters fighter. We may not appreciate what a spectacular talent he is until years after he's gone.
