Charles is better than Tony in all aspects of MMA besides

I think Tony will win in his usualy fashion. It will not be easy but he'll finish in a violent manner.

This is a good match up for Tony. Oliveira's only strenght is ground game which Tony is good at, Tony is the better fighter Overall.

Jim Miller
Clay Guida
Jared Gordon
Nik Lentz
Christos Giagos
David Teymur
Kevin Lee

That’s Charles current streak lol. Most of those guys are old and past it, his best wins are Kevin Lee and Teymur. Why the fuck did he even fight Jared Gordon??
Tony is going to kick the ever loving shit out of this dude he is so overrated.

Charles finished all of them easily

He is a totally different fighter at 155 and is only getting better

Tony is getting older by the second and is on his way out, he’s also coming off a beating of a lifetime

If Tony makes one mistake, Charles will put him to sleep

Tony’s striking is among the worst in the top 10
<TrumpWrong1>
His striking defense has holes, but his offense makes more than up for it against everyone not named Gaethje thus far in recent history.

This fight is going to be so good. Have Ferguson via submission.

Think Ferguson will go pedal to the metal just because its a 3 rounder. He will tire Charles out and submit him just like he did against Barboza.

Tony finishes Charles.

chuck had a nice run and it was good on him. But Tony ends it.

Tony has way better striking and pressure, his striking is unorthodox and unpredictable. His ground game can compete with Oliveras too, he def won’t get subbed. Tony will elbow the living shit out of him if it hits the ground.

Tony’s cardio and chin are far better aswell
It's not unpredictable anymore. He does the same stuff (striking wise) in every fight.

@Hitto you should just stick to making khabib/conor threads or your new idol khamzat threads buds.

Oliveira is being hilariously underrated here, he has shown massive improvements in his stand up and overall game.

Do Bronx is easily the favorite against a fading T Ferg, I think he will finish Tony.

His bjj is better but not enough to make a difference, his striking is text book better but im not sure he would win a striking battle against tony even in the first rounds, both have equally bad striking defence, tony has better cardio and better chin.

Match up wise oliveira does indeed have some areas where he's better, but not enough to make a difference, oliveira is basically a more orthodox tony ferguson
Charles has very good striking defense

Dunno what you're watching bud

There is too much pressure and too much pure insanity for Olivera to contend with.

Tricky fight to analyze because Oliveira has clearly improved, but hasn't been tested against anyone elite. Tony is almost 37 and on the downside of his career...his reckless/unorthodox approach will sadly be less and less effective as he slows down, loses more striking exchanges, etc. But he's still no walk in the park for anyone. I wouldn't bet on this fight...

You know how Overeem is your classic "glass cannon" as a striker? Charles is probably the best example of "glass cannon" in bjj. He's super super slick with his submission offense. His defense? Not so much. Nor wrestling. So calling him way better in bjj is a little short sighted

Charles Oliviera took easy way out by ducking Islam when he needed a replacement opponent at UFC 254 and instead fighting Tony.

Oh well, I'll still watch. While Chandler is still pursuing his "other plans" its funny to watch the division move on.

Oliviera's growth is clear, he looks far more confident and his stand up much better each time he's out. He can easily out grapple Tony and if he shakes his nerves when pressured can even outstrike him.

Tony is just relentless and has deceptively heavy hands tho. Gonna be a thriller.
