Recently came across mentions and clips of an old Japanese full-contact karate promotion called Chaos Madmax
What's the deal with this promotion, was it a 1-time thing, or does it still run? Was it organised by a specific karate style, like Enshin organise the Sabaki Challenge? What were the rules?
Can't find much about it online, apart from one article that might have been written by the JBG himself, entitled:
KARATE FANATICS FIGHTS TO RECLAIM
THE TITLE OF ULTIMATE STRENGTH
It ends with the line:
"Karate will become still more powerful. The fight to take back the title of most powerful has already begun."
