I do not like ground elbows at all. They just result in cuts, stoppages and a lot of blood.

But it is good to hear that eye pokes are taken more seriously. Current unified rules do not give fighters a reason to avoid using them.

It's something of a myth that elbows lead to considerably more cut stoppages compared to punches, knees, and kicks.
