Lot's of champs been losing via complete brain farts.

Aldos immediate lead right hook to the body to left hook combination against a south paw counter puncher who's only real weapon is the left hand. Literally the worst thing you can do against such a fighter.

Weidmans spinning back kick... just wtf. Despite what idiots say on here, Weidman won the 1st round and was winning the 3rd until this happened.

Now Werdum chasing after Stipe like it's a game of touch football. He literally chased him over the entire octagon. This coming from a guy who usually displays a ton of patients and high fight IQ.

Never seen so many champs give away their belts from just making such giant, stupid mistakes.

Fight IQ is a funny thing , emotion is such a big part that often it overrides IQ....

you do realize every champ that lost their belt, lost it because of a mistake??

pressure is real when you're the champ

Aldo was full of anger.

Werdum was hyped up from the crowd.

Weidman wanted to put a belfort on Rockhold, if he managed to land and ko Rockhold he would've came up with the whole i trained that bs (like the low kick check)

Ronda did what she always does...bull rushing...never change a winning team/tactic, i guess :D

More people need to learn from Ecoreem....fight smart.

Theres a difference between a mistake, like a small technical error that gets you ko'd or submitted, but the mistakes they made was just world class stupid and never should of happened.

Ronda and imo Andy as well.

Andy?
If guys like Franklin or Griffin managed to double up attacks on him, he could've been dropped earlier.

It wasn't a brain fart, it's just his risky fighting style.

Like Hall when he dropped his hands backing up against Weidman.

What mistake did JDS make against Cain? Or how about Shogun against Jones? Hendricks against Lawler?

It doesn't have to be a mistake. Sometimes you're playing your game perfectly, and you're just outclassed.

He should have destroyed Stipe, he did not respect his skills and paid the price

I don't think of poor fight IQ as a brain fart. A brain fart is a temporary lapse of what may be a normally high fight IQ, and from my POV Silva's has never been high.

Shogun made the mistake of taking the fight.

you're right. but too many idiots here that don't know a thing will say otherwise.

USADA I.Q. It would make sense that a fighter would feel more desperate if they weren't taking their sauce anymore, but I'm just saying that as an idea and not accusing anyone.

Fighters make mistakes..its capitalising on those that makes you a champ like conor, stipe, and rockhold.

strange fights to mentioned. Those guys probably made the MOST mistakes. More than getting caught with one punch, ala Aldo.

HGH/test can also improve thinking and reaction time.

Also, low T (or drop in T) can result in increased aggression, therefore poor judgement.
