Congrats to Khabib, 26-0. Who else had a *perfect* MMA record all the way to winning the belt?

Lyoto Machida I believe.... anyone else?

EDIT: List of fighters with Perfect MMA Records when they first won the UFC belt--
  • Khabib Nurmagomedov - Lightweight.
  • Lyoto Machida - Light Heavyweight.
  • Cain Velasquez - Heavyweight.
  • Chris Weidman - Middleweight.
  • Cody Garbrandt - Bantamweight.
  • Tim Sylvia - Heavyweight.
  • Women's MMA: Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Holly Holm, Ronda Rousey.

How is that relevant? Anyone would agree to fight random people if it got them the belt.

Tony pulled out. Max pulled out. The top 5rooster was afraid to step in..like Alvarez. so we take AI. He showed heart. And that guy gave Kevin Lee a loose.

Tony at least fought a #7 for his belt. Couldnt they give better than #11? What a joke. Paper mache champ with lots to prove and is already callign out money fights from retired fighters. Disgusting.

No they wouldn't. Stop it. Fights get cancelled all the time. McGoober won't even defend a belt.

How is it a knock on him for fighting when no one would blame him for stepping down?

Max didn't pull out.

Fact remains, Khabib became "the champion" by beating someone who isn't even in the top 10.

Yes they would. Stop it. Tell me one time a #2 fighter said "nope, I won't fight" when given a #11 opponent and told that as long as he wins, he becomes the new champion.
