Sounds like he's just parroting what Dana said after the fight. Dana also passed the blame on her manager.

Ha! Crazy that they expected holly to wait a year for Rhonda to maybe comeback. Chael also kissing up to Conor. He's a funny douchebag. But a douchebag still.
Holly is what? 36? How dare she want to stay active, and make some money while she had momentum. There was no guarantee Ronda would ever come back, at least to fight her. If she did, it would be at least 1 year.
As far as Dana throwing a hissy fit, isn't he the same jacka** who would publicly sh*t on fighters who would want to sit out and wait an extended period of time for a title shot instead of staying active? Rashad comes to mind.

Plus, I wonder what Meisha thinks hearing all of these comments from Dana. Obviously they didn't want her anywhere near the belt and Dana chomping at the bit to throw her at Rousey again seems mad disrespectful.

So Chael got busted for HGH and was dropped by Fox. But then ESPN picked him up.
He was hired as an analyst/commentator by Fox. Wouldn't his HGH use be irrelevant? Because ESPN doesn't seem to care about it.

Holly got 1.8 million for that fight and was 2 minutes away from a 49-46 UD.
It's easy to claim hindsight now. I didn't hear a whole lot of people bashing the decision beforehand. And what if Ronda got injured or decided not to come back?

Now they want Meisha to wait 8 or 9 months if Ronda decides to come back. Dana should let Ronda go. If she comes back, she comes back, but don't revolve the division around her. Let the fighters fight.

I agree. There is no guarantee she will even come back. But it's a real tough call for the fighter with the belt.
I don't know how Holly managed a 500k guarantee and ppv on such a huge card but no way Tate gets anything close to 1.8 million on her next fight unless it's against Ronda. And she could very well lose a rematch to Holly.
She almost has to wait. But Ronda only comes back if she wants to fight Tate and then Holly if she wins. I wouldn't put it past her (given the relationship between her and Meisha) to string it along for 9 months and then not come back. Or even worse get injured in camp.
Idk man, tough decision for Meisha. But I think Ronda probably will come back and waiting like an extra 4 months (assuming her next fight would have been in four or five months) to make probably 5x the money or maybe a lot more is hard to turn down. Guess we will know soon enough.
She's 34, but yeah it was her who repeatedly said she wants to stay active as much as possible + she made 1.8 mil. in that fight with Miesha ..not bad plus she still can fight Rhonda in a big fight - either she fights Miesha @ ufc200 and wins or fights somebody else wins, then Rhonda beats Miesha and voila we got the big fight comming again.

Definitely a tough call. Meisha can retire off a fight with Rousey as the champ. I'm sure she'll wait a bit. But it's so absurd to expect holly or Meisha to wait around for a maybe. You have set date or fight that's one thing, but for maybe Ronda will fight? I dunno.
