Crappy Century MMA gloves with no hand wraps don't offer protection for bag and pad work. And why are you using MMA gloves in Muay Thai?

The wrist straps are rather stout when fastened tightly, the instructor gets MMA guys into the MT classes who are looking to improve their striking - thus he allows various gloves in the class. I've seen this at 3 separate places I've taken muay thai/kickboxing classes

I've taken probably 2-3 classes (I take MT 3 times a week if this puts it into perspective) with these gloves to try them out.

I generally use my Ringside "premium" bag gloves though, review on those coming up soon.
