I definitely recommend attending if you can regardless of whether you want to be a referee. Prof. Alvaro Mansor is the head referee for all of the CBJJ and he does a great job of explaining the rules.

On Thursday, March 27, prior to the Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship, the IBJJF will be giving a Referee course.
Time:
11AM - 1PM
(lunch break)
2PM - 5PM
