RBR Catterall vs Barbosa Feb.15th DAZN

I'm surprised the fighters ring side are saying it's easily Catterall winning

Catterall scored the most telling blows and Barboza couldn't punch himself out of a wet paper bag but Jack just didn't do enough on the back foot to win most rounds.

Not exactly a cracker BTW.

Thought Catterall landed more telling punches. Thought the knock down was OK.

I can't say I'm gutted he lost tbh, a super awkward style, bladed, extended fencing of the jab, left always cocked, makes attacking him so tricky, which can often lead to a staring contest.
The right guy won imo, glad he wasnt stiffed on the cards.

High level, sure, but not a great fight by any stretch. Can't complain for either dude, or a draw tbh. Not much in that fight.

He's a stinker. Not sure what it is about that weight class, a lot of stinkers at 140.
Hitchins is another. In stronger divisions imo I find usually stinkers get jobbed out before getting to this tier, I think the division is just the pit stop between 135-147 it always was, and not enough real sensations occupying the division to keep the stingy guys who aren’t doing favors to viewership from cracking the top 5.

Caterall is the really boring guy isn’t he? Boxing’s answer to “anti-football”.
