It was a different Tony at the time Khabib leapfrogged him. Clearly for Tony age and damage has caught up with him. His a shadow of the fighter he was.

I am sure Khabib would have been favorite, but he jumped the most dangerous guy in the division at the time to get raging Al. That seems like an absolute gift to me.

I think yes Tito would have rather not fought him,but UFC smeared him to make it look like thats all it was,but thats not true. At the time Tito was also doing other shit outside the UFC and thought he and Chuck should hold out for more money. Chuck didnt care about the money though.
