Carlos Condit - Fighting has been and still is f*****g awesome for me.

Thanks for sharing, mate. Gotta love the Natural Born Killer.

He may be natural born fighter but he ain't champion material

Love Condits toughness:

as a gigantic Condit fan since WEC, to some degree....this^

I know he won the interim title and was WEC champ but his career seems to be overshadowed by GSP (he was WEC WW champ when GSP was UFC WW champ and eventually the 2 would fight with GSP easily winning). Then he came close again versus Robbie Lawler but just a tad short of the title.

but who cares, he's exciting. Maia is very winnable so would be a big setback if he lost.

He should have FOUGHT Diaz.

He had a chance to KO Nick...(...which I know would have put him in harms way...but Nick isn't a power puncher and Carlos has a legendary chin, so...) but he played it super safe, and...subsequent to that fight the trajectory for Carlos started to wane...

Still lots of interesting matchups for Condit (IMHO).
It's refreshing to hear a fighter with a brain or one that doesn't give generic interviews.

Yeah, fighting for the title, and takin on the top of the division in epic fights is d finitely waning. Fucking nick lovers are more delusional than Conor fans

What does that even mean to you guys?

Are you saying because he came up short (other then mentioned WEC and UFC interim titles) that means he is not quality enough a fighter to be a champ?

He might lose a little bit of love for fighting when he get backpacked for 5 round...

-_-'

He was on his bicycle a little too much in his last fight for my tastes. He peppered lawler but didn't exactly go toe to toe with him.

What are you talking about?

Dude, there were SOOO many people who were HYPED about the Nick vs Carlos fight............I'm def not in the minority.

Carlos said it would be a war, etc, etc, (to paraphrase) and...many people bought it.

Then the fight happened, and.................

Oh well.

Been pretty solid overall these years & hasn't popped for PED's -> so that's a big plus

Why is it that Condit isn't allowed to use a gameplan? He is exciting whichever way he fights.

I feel he won the Lawler fight, I would love to see them go at again.

Its a tough test vs Maia though.

Sounds like his motivation has been reignited which is awesome, WAR NBK!!
