Personally, I thought Esparza was just about to work her way to her feet right before the referee jumped in. BS stoppage. I know that I'll get alot of shit for this, but it's my honest opinion. None of the shots Suarez landed hurt Carla in any way and I believe Carla was just buying her time, letting Suarez gas herself out before she decided to stand up and land bombs. Ref cost her the fight.

Honestly, I hated the stoppage.

Carla was not going to win that fight, we all know this, but if you're not going to stop it when Tatiana is raining down brutal hellbows, if you're not going to stop it when Carla is getting taken down again and again and again, then why are you stopping it with those gassed out hammer fists? Tatiana was just trying to stay busy at that point, just a weird stoppage in terms of timing.

Carla lost every round 10-8 in my opinion.
