Car Audio Decks/Head Units

Hey guys, what would you consider the best head unit to buy at a reasonable price?I

I just picked up a Kenwood head unit and it only plays 255 songs from my USB stick out of 600+ songs, all MP3s. Has this happened to anyone before? If so, do you know the reason for this or is there any way around it? It's damn annoying.
