It's highly likely that i won't even stream this. Will definitely give the other "Captain Marvel" movie a chance, though.

I think her comments, outside Disney's marketing, is what's dragging this movie's projected box office down. I wonder if Feige is going to meet with her to just tell her to STFU for a while.

I heard she's getting paid $5m for her role. RDJ only got $500k for Iron Man 1. That's kinda surprising.

The whole white man reviewer thing really upset me and I'm not even white far from it. I hate that kind of racist attitude towards any race including white people. I've honestly been debating whether I want to even go see it anymore. I was seriously pissed off by that. The rest of the stuff she has said hasn't really bothered me. I'll probably still see it because of the connection to End Game but after that I'm done with this. I'll pirate her movies to keep following the MCU and she can fuck off.

Either way this is good though if she opens up around 80M that's about what Strange did so maybe they'll give him the mantle or him and BP. BP is kind of a "dry" character but it's better than Brie Larson. I think Strange would work best his comedy is similar to RDJ and with some small tweaks would be a suitable replacement.

They payment of 5M makes sense because Iron Man 1 was over 10 years ago and the franchise is much bigger now than it was back then. Then again RDJ was a much bigger actor than she ever was. I don't know maybe Marvel just couldn't afford more back then and told RDJ to invest in them and they'll pay it back.

She's annoying but I'd still see the movie if it just didn't look so goddamn boring. It's not just her disinterested look throughout the trailers. Marvel has had a villain problem for a while and they made the Skrulls seem so boring in these trailers.

It's also weird to have the Skrulls as the villains for a solo movie. They seem like more of an Avengers enemy that can extend to more than just one movie.

To be fair, RDJ later got paid $50m for the first Avengers and $75m for Age of Ultron. I don't think any other actor in the MCU is going to reach that level

I wont lie the movie doesn't look overall that exciting. If it wasn't for End game coming out so soon after I'd be waiting for the blu ray. I think I saw one trailer that made the movie look pretty good but that's it.

Man from 500k to 50M craziness.

RDJ was literally the only reason Civil War was allowed to happen, too. If he didn't sign on, they likely do Serpent Society.

Seemed like such a good idea to try to emotionally blackmail everyone into watching it after that went so well for Ghostbusters.

Basically, from what I remember, Zemo detonates a bomb that turns people into rage monsters and Cap has to deal with a moral dilemma or some shit. At the Phase 3 announcement, it was a place holder to not spoil the Civil War announcement, but the Russos said it was going to be a much different movie if RDJ didn't sign. They were extremely happy he did.

Wow that's crazy Civil War is like one of my 3 MCU movies it was so good. I think it's the only Marvel movie other than IW that I've watched multiple times (not including the binge before IW).
 
In light of all the things Brie has been doing...I have to wonder...how does she get along w/ her more old fashioned co-stars....not the very liberal ones like Ruffalo and Evans...but the rest.

Jon Bernthal has worked closely w/ Tom Holland, both auditioned together for their roles in 2015. They also worked on another film together.

Imagine Brie Larson and Jon Bernthal working together. First Marvel actors to have backstage feuding? Would she allow Bernthal's macho man's man aura, attitude, and demeanor?

Hell imagine Henry Cavill working with her. She'd probably be pissed at him for saying "I'm chivalrous...I like to chase women...but I'm afraid of it now because I don't wanna be accused of being a rapist"
