It's easier to teach a hot actress how to do choreographed fight scenes than it is to teach a hot fighter how to act.

I have a hard time imagining her landing this big of a role given her past acting performances. It would be pretty huge if she did though. It would pull in even more interest for her fights from the non-standard MMA fanbase.

If it is a big budget movie then it wont happen. Real actors with real skills get cast in real roles for big films. About the time she lands that role we will see edward norton taking on Connor for the belt. She would need to get way better at acting, and I am not talking about how she has gotten way better at striking.

So far the marvel movie franchise has done a very good job, do you really think they need rons fans to be a success?

Bas had a few good parts but he was mostly just being Bas.
Jardine makes a good bad guy that doesn't talk on screen.
Kung was good in that one movie on the space ship where he didn't talk, then terrible in that terrible Rza movie.

people think that just because dwayne johnson did the crossover to acting and actually became a star it's viable for any big star in mma aswell, if ronda didn't have a nice ass and a pair of tits she wouldn't have gotten any of the roles she's been cast in thus far.

because she has virtually zero on-screen charisma, and she can't act for shit, unlike dwayne who was a natural from day one and could bottle charisma and sell it in the supermarket as 'rock dust'

Talking on the Tommy Toe Hold show recently (via Yahoo! Movies), MMA superstar and star of The Expendables 3 Ronda Rousey revealed some serious geek cred when talk turned to her love of Pokemon. However, of most interesting is what she said when asked which movie she thinks would be better if it starred her. "They're making a Wonder Woman right now, aren't they?" she asked. "I should have been Wonder Woman, man! That girl couldn't curl a two-pound weight, what's so wonderful about that? I don't understand."

Rousey revealed Mew is her favorite Pokemon. "Mew is the originator of all the other Pokémons ... Mew is the original one and [all the other Pokémon] came from that one. And, you couldn't catch Mew in the original game. You had to use the lavender town," she revealed. "I actually went to the mall for those Pokémon events, those little tournaments to get me a Mew. I wanted Mew so bad. I waited in line with all the other nerds for hours. I wanted to get me a Mew, and a Mew certificate of authenticity that I taped to my wall," Rousey was not ashamed to admit.

"Umm, I'm really good at Candy Crush (laughs)," she adds. "I don't know if I picked up a bassoon right now, if I could play it, like read the music, but I used to play the bassoon. I was really good at bassoon. Wait! I'm really good at Taboo, the game Taboo. I [expletive] wreck it on Taboo."

Ronda Rousey Criticizes Wonder Woman and Female Superheroes

Talking with Tommy Toe Hold last week, UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey revealed that she would love to play Wonder Woman in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and criticized the film's choice of actress Gal Gadot for the Amazonian princess, whom she criticized as a girl who "couldn't curl a two-pound weight." In a new interview with USA Today, Rousey takes some more jabs at Wonder Woman and other female superheroes in general:

"I'm tired of watching this thing where the woman's superpower is dumbed down. In The Fantastic Four, the woman is the invisible one. In X-Men, (telekinetic) Jean Grey gets tired all the time. Wonder Woman is cool, but she has bulletproof bracelets, while Superman is a bulletproof dude. It's like she has really cool accessories. I think about that a lot."

Interestingly enough, the three superheroes Ronda mentions are poor examples of weak female characters and are in fact three of the most powerful characters in the comic books. The Invisible Woman, not only can she turn invisible, but can also generate near-indestructible force fields and generate constructs. She could create a bubble inside a person's head and expand it until the head explodes. Jean Grey is an Omega-level mutant and destroyer of galaxies when she's bonded with the Phoenix Force. For the past few decades, Wonder Woman possesses a very high resistance to physical injury and that includes being bulletproof. Ronda needs to update her Wonder Woman research since it looks like she's still stuck with the Lynda Carter version.

Well she can't act for shit so would marvel degrade their franchise like that? There are so many other real actresses to give the role to. Ronda is the type that you can give about 5-10 minutes of camera time to only doing action shots or have 1 to 2 lines a sequence. Not an entire movie where she has to sell the role and be convincing.

I think Gal Gadot is a bad casting for the role but superhero castings are never perfect and I wouldn't be surprised if she does a decent(ish) job.

I really cant stand Ronda and I dont think shes nearly attractive enough nor does she have the acting chops to headline movies or even TV. I'm sure there are much better options for this role but it seems her popularity will carry her pretty much anywhere she wants
