OG is right. He was one of the first elite LWs in MMA, at least that I remember. BJ Penn once said that Uno was the one that got him excited to compete in MMA. He was very well rounded for the time period. I don't like his chances now.
I'd rather see Shinya Aoki... Hioki and Uno are two Japanese featherweights that had their chance. Aoki is Japan's most promising candidate to make a run for a UFC title... Out with the old, and in with the new imo...
Avila and Romero are 2 decent wins for Caol. Before that though, he fought a 1-0 nobody (now 1-2). His loyalty to Shooto could work against him though, they love matching up Shooto legends with easy wins. I'd like to see him fight Yachi next.
