Who would have thought Uno still had some left in the tank, figured he was done after the Lion KO. He's beaten some solid guys too, Anthony Avila, Daniel Romero, Taiki Tsuchiya and Jesse Brock aren't pushovers.

At least give him one last shot in the September show. Uno has some decent following, is a beloved fighter by the UFC, and put on a nice winning streak.

He said after one of his VTJ wins that his goal was to get another chance in the UFC, however he's 38 years old, so I don't think there's that much of a chance if doesn't happen soon.

I hope they do give him another chance on one of their Japan cards though.

it has been awesome to watch his recent fights and see him getting wins!

Maybe, but where are guys that started fighting in 2006, 2007,2008, 2009? Those guys should now be at their peak. Majority of ufc champs made their debuts in those years.

They've either been hit with bad luck or haven't been given a good chance (or both). It's hard to prove you're one of the best in the world when the only international promotion that wants to book you is "Crazy Vladimir's Night of Eastern-European Madness III", which also hurts your motivation to train hard and improve since all your training's going for naught, or when you get badly jet-lagged and don't perform near your best against your first international opponent (who's inferior to a lot of the people you've beaten before).

How sure are you Kitaoka would lose to ISAO, even now?

Not to mention ISAO doesn't even have a glimpse of succsess Kitaoka had in his first 6 years of fighting.

The situation at 145 isn't really better. You have Kawajiri and Hioki, nobody is even close to them.
