I'll be honest, I completely bought into it as well. When you have a guy who KO's the former Pound 4 Pound best in Aldo...it's hard not to believe he can do it all.

But shiiieeeeet after seeing Nates shots that rocked and hurt Conor, I couldn't imagine what someone like Robbie could have done, would have been death.

It's funny how a long time top fighter loses and can make you look at other match-ups objectively without being influenced by the aura they have.

That would have been tragically ironic

'Head....CLEAN off'

No one with a brain bought Conor vs. the top WW fighters.

Dana should be glad that Nate derailed Conor vs Lawler. If Dana had booked this fight he would have been in prison as an accessory to murder.

It's just crazy how I actually played around with that idea in my head that Conor could work Robbie. The man really is talented at talking.

Brendan Shaub said Conor will take Robbie out. lol what a goofball

I was thinkn this last night. Lawler would've beat him down bad

People are nuts. Conor is an average LW at best. All the stupid talk about him weighing 180+ and sizing him up against WWs is just people losing their minds because he was winning. Reality set in last night.

Can't believe people thought he could finish Robbie.

Well, it's Sherdog so...

Lawler would've been charged with murder for sure. Edgar will most likely beat mcCunt and Aldo got a great chance in a rematch.

+1 everything TS said. I certainly bought into it although I still had Robbie winning. It would have been a complete mismatch for sure

I'm prepared to eat my words. As a total Conor hater, I was actually starting to think he did have a chance against Lawler.

Then I saw the Diaz fight and was reminded that Conor has virtually no defense against strikes, doesn't throw combos, and just how bad he is on the ground.

Robbie couldn't submit Conor. And I think Nate would beat Lawler too

Lawler would put Conor completely to sleep.

You sound like the perfect client, I also have a bridge in brooklyn to sell you.

What will do Conor in, is his next weight cut to FW. I really don't want to see Skeletor again.

Conor can't grapple on the level of UFC WW's. Everyone knew he would never be successful at 170lbs. He would be a midget at WW and could never hang on the feet or on the ground vs Robbie, Rory, Wonderboy, Tyron, Carlos, Johny Maia, Matt Brown, Stun Gun, etc etc He doesn't have the frame or the skillset for the UFCs WW division. It was always false hope.

For a guy with a movement coach, his movement was terrible. He also keeps his hands way too low, which is odd for a boxe
