canon rebel t4 vs nikon 3200

Would also recommend looking at the new cameras Fuji just released. The X-E1 looks like an awesome camera, and so does the recently announced X100S, even though it has a fixed 35mm lens.

Fuji is running the APSC sensor game now.

My sister just got a Canon T3 after a few years of standard point-and-shoot cameras. Even then, she's mostly purchased Canon. She got one Nokia and swore off them. The Nokia (at least, for her) needed a lot more tweaking of the settings to get anywhere near as clear of a picture the Canon could get with the auto/default settings.

Me? I ended up inheriting that particular Nokia just to mess around with, but I barely even bother to use my phone's camera.

Not that either of us know much, and the T3 (or T3i, I'm not sure) is the first DSLR any of my family have ever had, so....

And if you were to have ridonkulous sums of money, 1DX or D4? :)

Never tried any, but according to DigitalRev the 1DX has an even faster burst rate and even better AI Servo autofocus.

If I had ridonkulous sums of money though, I'd probably buy a Leica M9 and a Noctilux f/0.95. Haha :P
