Surprised how many new names I’ve never seen on this undercard, I’ve been super busy trying to get money/career/spending better situated and waiting for post-production to complete on a record I drummed almost 6 months ago, I guess I just fell out of touch with the active viewing and monitoring of the sport… grateful for this forum or id probably altogether forget to watch anymore.

Just confirming if that's your excuse in case Canelo loses
We’re confirming what everyone in the world who’s not a Crawford fan is saying. The truth.
68th fight in a 20 year career, fighting bigger men, not little lightweights, and you think he’s fresh as ever?
Get the fuck outta here.

Who is we speak for yourself
I asked you one specific question and you couldn't answer then put words into my mouth that's the sign of an insecure person and by the sounds of it you're not too sure on the results of this fight

I think the general consensus, even before this fight was signed, is that Canelo has lost a step.

Possible sure but other factors are at play when fighting completely different styles every time
Now he's fighting Bud Crawford the fighter with a style unlike any fighter he's faced before

I'm just trying to get an idea of what excuses are in people sleeves before the fight since everything seems to come out AFTER the fact

I don't disagree with any of that. I don't really think Crawford has fought anyone like Canelo either. Its a good fight.

Oh no doubt about it but since Bud is the underdog I just want to hear the excuses before the fight actually happens because if Bud actually manages to win the judges over or stop Canelo let it be known before the bell rings not after

IF it goes the distance, there'll be robbery talk no matter what the fight was actually like. Always is.

Could be but any robbery usually goes to Canelo so does Bud have to knock Canelo out just to get a split decision?

Crawford said it himself. He thought it was outrageous for him to fight Canelo a couple years ago.
What happen?

I remember him saying he was gonna KO Spence then move up and beat Canelo

Yup Crawford has called out Canelo for years.

I'm still scratching my head wondering why Canelo took this fight. There is basically zero upside to this. I'm sure he could even pull similar numbers fighting someone like Eubank Jr. or even Hamzah Sheeraz.

But he took a fight against a jr. middleweight where he'll get no props for winning and just ridiculed for losing. And not only that, Crawford is someone who needs you to doubt him to perform at his highest levels. For all the physical advantages Canelo has, he is giving up all the psychological advantages.

And since I believe the game is more mental at the highest levels I am now teetering very slightly to Crawford but basically 50-50 imo. I think Crawford has to win by at least 3 rounds to get the decision.

i'm sure canelo will get major props for beating crawford.
not as much as if crawford wins, but he will.
pacman started out as fly. but nobody cared how many wgt classes he jumped to fight floyd.
ppl aren't gonna remember what crawford was before, they just gonna remember where he fought at now.

nowadays, beating popular big names are more important than beating actual real talent.

*that's why i prefer to watch the lower wgts. where the best actually fight the best.
