I hate them. They're a fucking burden. When I vote I try to think of what is best for everyone who will be represented by the government I'm voting for. Bloc clearly does not answer to this criteria.

Funny you should say that. I was just telling @Cubo de Sangre it would be too easy. Here's hoping some in this thread can take something from that and we can have less hyperbole-choked discussions on the topic. I just want what is best for Canada as a whole. Hopefully, things will work out. Historically, minority governments have been very effective so there's good reason to be optimistic.

You don’t want to separate, especially 10-20 years down the road.

What you want is an end to equalization payments to Quebec, and the ability to shut the pipes off to the areas who keep hypocritically saying they don’t want oil.

If Alberta could actually exert it’s influence, it would be incredibly powerful.
