The CBC is all over it. The National is airing a special on the Islamic Group that kidnapped these people.

The CBC spent quite a bit of time covering it yesterday. Though, I found Trudeau's speech to be rather disingenuous. Obama would have shed a single tear and talked about how the victim could have been his son.

The problem is not with allowing Muslims into Canada. People are critical of Trudeau's methods. He rushed in 25,000 Muslims using questionable screening methods. The cost for his pet project is enormous and many of the Muslims are racking up incredible costs living in hotels because the government has not been able to find housing for everyone.

I do not think Canada will ever regain the cost, financially or culturally, for Trudeau's recklessness.
