They had being saying for the past year including bill gates. If you get vaccinated you are protected from infection.
If no vaccine is 0% effective then these restrictions, passports, mandates must end. Treat it like a flu vax.

If everyone she exposed is vaxxed and boosted, they have a much better chance of a positive outcome.

I think that's fundamentally the difference between vaxxers and antivaxxers. I know it sounds obvious, but I(and almost everyone I know) just do not see getting vaccinated as a big deal. It seems like a no-brainer to us.

The benefits of getting vaccinated outweigh the risks, according to all the science available.

I know antivaxxers don't believe that, but that's the way most reasonable people see it. To us, vaccine mandates seem like a minor inconvenience, not some tyrannical violation of our rights.

We still don't know how effective the vaccines will be in the long run, or if the virus can ever be eliminated. That seems extremely unlikely at this point. We tried our best. Well, at least most of us did.

Believe it or not there are people who haven’t been poked that are responsible. I’m not and I don’t plan on it, and when I got sick, I stayed home even though my symptoms were less than a regular cold. And I wear a mask at work. Wow. 85% plus of Canadians are vaccinated and that number goes up with age. The accepted % to reach herd immunity is 80%. We're well over that number while also dealing with the least harmful variant. So why are we still dealing with mandates and lockdowns?

Nobody is willing to answer this. Probably because there's no good answer.

Yet people are more upset at those wanting to end the government overreach than the government that wants to control without a real reason.

Covid isn't going away people. And the vaccines aren't going to guarantee your safety either. Best you get used to that fact. Suck it up, take care of yourself move on. The game is over.

You missed the whole point of my original post. She was sick and out there - most likely - spreading. All because the rules say she can go out because she got two shots. And a third. Yet she still got an infection she likely caused others to be infected as well
