I have been to many protests, and literally all of them were more peaceful than this. And most of them were more friendly.

The residents of Centretown are being intimidated by a group of angry rednecks occupying our neighborhood. There are lots of verbal and physical altercations and it will only get worse

As for it being an occupation? Unfortunately you're in it for the long haul it seems, according to the convoy spokesperson. I imagine that will suck, but until the vocal authoritarian minority wakes up there's not a lot you can do.

The problem is, as it always is with every protest, march or whatever, is that all sorts of people hitch their wagons to the original movement and shit gets out of control. The longer it goes on the crazier it gets.

For someone like that user he uses for their argument Aus as a example how great the restrictions had being. Yet ignores how in other countries despite the vaccinations and restrictions cases had being rising despite mask rules.

Most of the countries in Europe had being following these same messures for the past two years now. Will Aus be ok with the fact anyone who tests positive vaccinated or not they would be locked down again?
That's what these measures do. No matter if you are vaxed or not and if you test positive there it goes.

You got a lockdown.

These measures and restrictions are unhelpful for businesses let alone the passports.

@Ares Black is my favorite though. Crying and rage posting about being "inconveniced" by some honking horns for a couple days, but had absolutely ZERO fucking qualms about people being fired and the inconvenience of having to switch careers over refusing a useless medical procedure.
