Ben Affleck in any role
Ha Ha. You know when I was a boy and Tone C came to East Germany, the communists said it was subversive. Maybe they were right.Jesus , mate , let off some steam..
I was going through the netflix action catalog for something to watch and there are quite a lot of action movies starring women. A lot of them seem to be Jason Bourne type spy action flicks for some reason. I don't mind female action leads but it has to be somewhat believable and there are way too many movies of skinny women throwing dudes way bigger than them around. Big dude who can supposedly fight can't take out a skinny woman and gets KOed by a few strikes from her....any movie with a 110lb skinny woman, throwing around and beating up 220lb men.
That shit is so cringeworthy.
I always hated that "clever girl" line. The game warden in Jurassic Park was a can. He knew the exact hunting tactics the velociraptors would use, and walked right into their trap anyway.
Clever girl.....
(stupid human)

What? No way! He was perfect for that role!

No “bad poosay” posts? Guess GoT really did fall off.

The original equalizer wasn't just some generic Jason Bourne ripoff like he is in the Denzel movies. He would often just outsmart his opponents.

Yet people flock to see Tom Cruise who's 5 foot 6 and 140lbs. Jackie Chan and Jet Li were huge stars and they were small men. Liam Neeson is old as dirt and he's a popular action star. Same for Denzel Washington.I remember back in the 90s and early 2000s when you had a badass female character, she always ends up in a girl vs girl fight against the female henchman of the villain. Now it's always one woman who beats up a room full of guys. If you insist on having a badass woman, why not make it more interesting by having her take out enemies using her wits, weapons, tactics rather than brute strength? Oh right, because that actually takes creativity and good writing to pull off.
Affleck was the bomb in PhantomsBen Affleck in any role
This is a classic example. Vernon Wells looked like shit (dunno how Arnie approved and didn't get him on the weights at least for a short stint). Plus his portrayal was shit.Bad casting
I want to love it, but it is a bad casting job, bad moustache, bad chain mail. Wells was good in mm2, innerspace, weird science, I even saw those plug head movies. This is a classic example. Certainly not what everyone was expecting from his mad max days.
It was an epic battle with his veneers I remember most from the equalizerWhat? No way! He was perfect for that role!
