As a follow up to some of my earlier inquiries, when it comes to the following types of political and religious ideologies, can you name at least one public figure/speaker/writer who you acknowledge to be a massive intellectual giant and elite debater, regardless of how strongly you concur with or disagree with their stances?

Atheism

Social and fiscal progressivism

democratic socialism


left libertarianism/libertarian + liberal hybrid

Like your (I think it was you) earlier thread, there is just too great a cross over between these categories. 5, 6, and 8 largely describe the same thing. Regardless, for them, Richard Posner is a great authority on the free market intersection of law/policy and economics.
