I weigh BJ’s 4 title wins very high, at the time the opponents were very good too (maybe Sanchez was premature but still was 2 win streak at LW).

Then Gomi’s 10 win streak that he capped off with finishes that included Kawajiri and Sakurai in the Grand Prix and crowned a division champion.

Khabib is obviously right in the mix, idk about surpassing them yet but he’s still active and could be scary if he’s just entering his prime, only age 29 :/ !

Most of Silva's best career wins were vs guys we know were on PEDs (Hendo, Vitor, Shael, Marquardt, Forrest, etc). Jones, not so much

What kind of whack ass argument you trying to feed me? Your theory is that Silva was on peds/steroids as was his opponents but he was that good over other peds/steroid users he gets a astrix. But Jones fought all clean fighters while he was using so no mention or astrix..?

You have any proof of Jon's use or even Silva's use of steroids.peds before they were officially popped & recorded..? Or you one of them peeps that believe we should listen to hearsay, gym chatter, & rumor as solid proof of juice use before being popped? You can safely say the men mentioned for Silva used because they've been officially popped previously where as Silva & Jones are newbies to being popped but somehow Silva is deserving of asterix mention but Jones not so much because he fought all clean guys while dirty, am I reading you right..?

Aoki was beating better guys than Penn during their respective runs at LW imo, although I think Penn was the better fighter overall. Shame the fight never happened.

I agree but most people will never see it that way. I will agree that Penn would beat Aoki in a fight but picking a goat isn't about that. To pick a goat in a weight class is all about their career in that division which is mainly about the good and great fighters they beat and their losses in that division. That's why it's hard to call DC the goat at LHW right now, if he would win just 3 out of his next 5 fights at LHW in the top 10 then he would be in a better spot at 205 goat than he is now and would be the goat at 205 imo.

But I don't ever see that happening at DC's age and him not fighting at HW. He has a better shot at being the all time goat than being the goat at 205 which sounds really weird. If he beats Stipe, then defends the HW belt a couple of times and then retires, he could basically say he was undefeated given Jones failed twice during their time. DC has a shot at being the all time goat standing side by side with GSP, above Fedor and Anderson.

Sorry for getting off track with the rant about DC lol.

Shogun Rua is up there arguably the best, I'll give you that.

Wanderlei has not faced and beaten the level of competition that DC has. DC has beaten the best version of anthony johnson (twice), Gustafsson, Anderson Silva, Dan Henderson, Frank Mir, Roy Nelson, Josh Barnett, and etc... His only two losses are to arguably the greatest mixed martial artist of all time in Jon Jones, who was using PED's. Silva was decisively beaten by a handful of people in Wand's prime. If DC and Wand ever fought, there is no doubt in my mind DC would win. Wanderlei would not be able to handle the wrestling and ground n pound (Cro Cop was able to get top position and smash him), Wand couldn't KO DC (DC has one of the toughest chins in MMA history and Wand doesn't throw anything harder than AJ's right hand...), and DC would domiante in every facet of the fight.

Tito Ortiz? Seriously? There is no way Tito is more skilled and well rounded than DC, he hasn't faced higher competiton than DC, and in a fight I don't see where Tito would win.

Chuck and Rampage are arguable but I feel like they just haven't looked as perfect as DC has, and in a fight they have nothing to offer DC.

Just curios how you have TJ over Cruz. Cruz is like 22-2, didn't lose for a decade , and won the title from TJ. I just feel that objectively speaking he's the bw goat and likely a top 10-15 goat in general
