Can we talk about some of the high points from last night?

18. Damn, you have done good as a dog parent!

I think my golden mutts were about 16 & 13 or so when they passed and I was pretty proud to have given my dogs a great run.

Take care of her and enjoy the time you have.
Thank you we are giving her a lot of attention right now. And I’m so sorry to hear about your dog friend you did a great job as an owner!

Cheers. It was about 3 years ago. I miss them but now the good memories outweigh the rough patch at the end. And we spoiled the shit out of them when they were older, treats, snuggles, etc.

My dogs got to swim in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and cross the Mississippi river about 6x. They saw the Grand Canyon covered in snow. They had a huge fenced in yard to play in.

They were loved. They had a great life.

I will say I was pretty glued to the screen for most of the event. Very little was not a pleasure to consume.

And yes folks please support other orgs and catch some of these guys (and gals) on the way up. For me anyhow, it increases my investment and excitement when I see them "Step Up".

Sadly the reverse is true as well. You become invested in certain fighters and can't wait to see them get signed by a big promotion, only to see them waste away their careers never getting signed in their prime, and you realize that the MMA world isn't a perfect meritocracy.

Lavrentyev is 33 years old for god's sake.

Very true! So many Ifs and Buts in the game. Opportunities for amazing match-ups (and careers) hampered by it's imperfectness.

Some really good fights last night. I was particularly impressed with how Michel came back after losing round 1. And got the UD. And still managed to attempt the stuff that makes him the most entertaining fighter in the UFC. He’ll never be the champ, but I’ll never miss one of his fights.

I also liked the debut of Jasmine. She has a lot of work to do. But, she has the tools to rise in the rankings.

I personally found both of those fights more entertaining than the ME. Props to the co-main. They brought it. But, did it seem like Moreno was not as serious as he could have been? I don’t recall that attitude I saw last night from the first two fights. Maybe it was just my impression??
