Can we at least agree the Bisping punch was weak for a punch that led to a KO?

It really was. It just clipped him in the EXACT right spot. It was almost a slapping shot in a way.. The body punch that preceded it had absolutely zero on it. It was a weak punch that started the KO, it just was.

It really doesn't take much to have your clock rung if you don't see it coming.

Luke didn't see it at all, and bisping was actually moving all his weight forward when he landed that punch if my memory is right.

When you don't see a punch at all it shakes you more, when the guy is lunging into said punch you better have a granite chin.

Luke has a great chin, but its not granite

I agree you're an idiot.

luke sticks his chin out

its almost like he was throwing the fight

He countered so nicely, that punch doesn't need much more on it since it was pin point.

Do I think it would've knocked out every fighter? No, I don't think so. It also didn't KO Luke. He got back up and proceeded to get hit again and then beaten against the fence.

lol no

Same punch that floored the spider, so I'm not so sure.

Granted, A / S chin CERTAINLY ain't what it once was, but Mike decking TWO top guys in a row leads me to believe it ISN'T some "fluke" shot, or "coincidence".

Dude is setting down on his shots with conviction now - something he has NEVER done before.

I, and I'm sure a lot of us, have seen much weaker punches that have put people on their asses. Bisping landed a clean, well timed and sufficiently powered shot that landed with the desired outcome.

Not sure where you see the slapping aspect from. It was a beautiful counter and Bisping is looking at exactly where that punch is going to land.

Picture perfect if you ask me.

The way Luke's head snaps you can tell it had plenty of power behind it. Bisping isn't a power puncher, he's technical; that's all you need.

No it wasn't. Unlike every other Bisping fight I've seen (which includes all of his UFC fights), he was actually committing to his punches here and throwing with bad intentions just like he said.

Can we agree that you're butt hurt? At least?? Who cares if it was accuracy or power Luke got smoked

bisping walked right thru that power jab too, what a beast

nothing out of the ordinary. just because it wasnt a looping bomb doesnt mean it was weak... you often see kos and kds from similar punches.

the denial is strong in this one

Same punch that floored the spider,

my thoughts exactly

He did decide to commit to the left more.. Almost half way through the punch he decided to swing it just a bit harder. Made the difference. This was the way I said he had a chance to win, early hard punching.

I'm not mad he won, btw.. When Bisping fights moving forward, I'm a fan. When he runs, not so much. Understand that some fights call for different strategy, but he WAS a consistent back-peddler for a while.
