Can we all agree Covington did better than expected vs Marty?

Unless those minor adjustments are getting bigger & stronger no amount of minor adjustments will help him. The difference between Kamaru's punches and Colby's was nightmare & day (see what I did there) Colby's punches would sting Usman and wake him up and counter harder, Usman punches you literally saw the air & spirit leave Colby's body...

Kamaru Usman, a guy who punches so hard you can literally see the spirit leave his opponent's bodies! the amount of stoppages this guy has because of his insane punching power is Deontay Wilder-esque, Joe...

After watching Marty completely dominate T-Wood, I did not expect Colbert to be a formidable foe....

To my surprise, CC hung tough and was game throughout and arguably up a round going into the 5th.

Yes, Covington’s scripted Chael-esque nonsense is annoying and dumb but we must give credit where it’s due.

No i thought he was gonna lose a decision without taking too much damage

I specifically remembering talking about UFC 245 Usman vs Covington and those punches sucking the life and cardio out of Colby, but thanks for your input...

Yup, he almost made Marty keep the tradition of escaping through a window.

I thought him fighting another 2 rounds with a broken jaw was quite impressive but he fought pretty much like i expected him to fight besides that. I never thought he would be an easy opponent for Usman really. The fight was entertaining but cant really say the striking level was very high. High output for sure, colby more so then Usman. But Usman better placed shots and was making the more impact. Both were not defending much at all so yeah fun to watch but therefor they were both not really showing the best striking skills. In the end it was more about who could take the most shots instead of who was the better fighter.

Change your name to Martynutsucker

It's OK son, you'll get no bitterness from me my boy Kamaru did his job once Colby's broken jaw mends you'll both begin to heal...

If Colby didn't open his mouth throughout the whole fight he will not have jaw of his broken (an irony I know). Without broken jaw Colby probably will win against Usman. (By point of course.)

There is no way that Colby will ever slow down in 5 rounds fight against everyone unless you broke one or two bone of his.

The fuck? He literally used footwork and head movement to stifle Lawler for 5 rounds. His head movement especially was why he slipped Lawlers power shots. Colby has really solid cage cutting and decent boxing.

Ok bud .. decent boxing ? lets just end our differences here and agree to disagree

I dislike both fighters Martyjocksniffer

So you keep saying but your wordz and favoritism don't match..?As I said I'm done with you scrub stay hating...

A few facts here: people are smearing Colby's name because Colby himself had stained the fuck out of his own name: the whole heel's act, openly supporting Republican (instead the usual closet Republican) (if you don't want to be bullied by the public don't support Trump), insulting the whole nation, insulting dead people, saying controversial shit, et cetera et cetera. (Some of his line is funny tho if you like watching standup.)

But people that underrate Colby as a fighter is clearly one dumb motherfucker. Unless you really don't watch MMA and tweeting #MAGAJAW for your lib-centrist-populist support, then it's okay to underrate him because you approach the topic politically not out of fair sportsman observation.

English please

His hands are a little crisper than expected but he got beat up and finished and that’s about how I thought it would go.

For me he did as well as I expected. The fight was as close as it gets and that's how I thought it would go.

Actually I thought he would do better. Wrestle more, make Usman a bit tired. Nothing happened, after that jaw was broken he checked out.
