Interesting to see if he can still wrestle going into the championship rounds. He goes at a pretty fast pace and I question his striking defense in the scenario where he's not able to put the pressure on his opponent.

Ponz goes into this match up as a 2:1 underdog and I believe he's got a chance in this fight if he can win in the later rounds or find a big shot to put Usman away, assuming Ponz doesn't gas himself due to the attrition.

Depends on what power level he fights at.

Anything ranging from 0 - 60% of his power will get him KO'd imo. But around 70% to 100%, and he should comfortably take Ponz to a UD.

He had plenty of energy in the 3rd round vs Meek.

He was latched onto him basically the whole round, which is usually boring. But that round was actually entertaining because he picked Meek up and slammed him several times.

It literally looked like a big brother was beating up his little brother. To the point that when the bell sounded, Meek got up off the mat and threw a tantrum for a few seconds because he was so frustrated.

If he does that to Ponzinibbio for 3 rounds, Ponzinibbio will be frustrated and exhausted.

Takedowns affects both. If usman makes ponzi suffocate and makes him carry his weight then ponz will be exhausted. His ribs could give out like in the case of pettis vs poirier.but i am going with ponzi. I love ponzi.
