I actually think it should be Stipe vs Jones and Ngannou vs Lewis.
Winners fight after for title.

Ngannou hasn't shown anything that makes me think he beats Stipe since the last fight. Beating Lewis in a impressive or intelligent way would show me he deserves another shot at Stipe.
If Ngannou loses to Stipe again it ruins him as a future champ especially if Stipe hangs around.

That is wrong is so many ways. Jones has been struggling with middleweights moving up in weight and now Ngannou (the hardest hitting heavy weight) is going to be an easy fight for Jones? Jones struggles with his striking vs people anywhere near his size - and Ngannou is bigger, stronger, and has the punching power to put him out.

Jones struggled getting takedowns in his recent fights vs middleweights moving up, I don't expect him to be able to implement a wrestling heavy game plan vs bigger heavyweights. You guys have to factor in their size and when was the last time Jones was effectively using a wrestling heavy fighting strategy?

The only alternative fight the ufc could make for either Francis or Stipe is against Jones. Anything else would be a joke.

I think we get the rematch and the winner defending against Jon later in the year.

Again, I would usually agree with you.

Izzy vs. Jan is dumb because it does nothing but clog up two divisions, as was the case with Conor vs. Eddie or even Cejudo vs. Dillashaw.

Stipe vs. Jones is a BJ vs. GSP level fight. They both more than earned it and are the UFCs best heavy and light heavy ever, respectively. Stipe is nearing old man territory and only has so many fights left. It is the more interesting bout by far considering he already holds a dominant win over Ngganou and Jones doesnt seem to be going back down to light heavyweight. One is a good bout, the other is GOAT determining level shit. It really isnt a competition imo.

He doesn't deserve a title shot over Ngannou that's for damn sure.

I don't care if he's 50-0 in his division. He has 0 fights at HW. Ngannou is coming off 4 knockout wins over top contenders.

Jones can either fight a contender or wait for the winner of Stipe Vs Ngannou if he wants a straight title shot.

anything COULD happen but Ngannou is not a big draw now. Jones is right now one of the biggest draws in the UFC and if he won the HW belt he would be a bigger star than now for sure.

Ngannou maybe got lucky a bit in his last 4 fights.

Stipe is a rare talent where he can wrestle and punch equaly well.

If division gets dominated by Rosenstruik, Gane, Ngannou, JDS, Lewis, then HWT becomes plain boring.

We need guys like Blaydes, Stipe and Cormier to make it fun, to throw in some wrestling and BJJ in the mix. Plain head hunting is only so far fun to watch, imho.

Kind of sucks we have to deal with this rematch since Stipe just got done wrapping up a trilogy

I would have preferred a fresh opponent as a fan but it's kind of an obligatory fight that we have wait to get past (and hopefully Stipe wins) so he can fight Jon Jones. That's the fight that interests me personally.
 
The HW GOAT does whatever he wants and you'll need to deal with it. This is life.

Hoping for Stipe vs Jones first, Ngannou can wait.

He can have an immediate title shot and wait his turn for it. Not like he's been teasing a move at HW for more than 7 years.
 
To be fair, they already foguth, Stipe easily won and since the Ngannou has looked even more terrible. Those chin up almost falling over his own feet looping hooks vs Rozenstruik are probably the most amateurish thing i've seen in a while including the horrible WMMA fights lol.

I personally like all aspects of MMA, but it's an objective fact that most people enjoy watching striker rather than wrestling/BJJ. A HW division with Ngannou has champ will be 10x more exciting than Stipe's reign. Ngannou would likely defend more than once a year (probably 3 to 4), and eventually clear the division.

If you're rooting for a more exciting HW division, then you should be cheering for Stipe to lose. Which will happen soon, whether to Ngannou or Jones.
