Can the UFC take away attributes from fighters?

Can the UFC take away special attributes from fighters? The two that came to mind were Jon Jones and Anderson Silva. So I made a couple photoshops of what could happen in the future.

1. Dana White bites off Jon Jones fingers to prevent him from eye poking. This doesn't need explaining. And I think we can all agree this is a step forward.

2. Since Anderson Silva doesn't bruise very well, I was think Dana White or staff could throw some shots at Anderson Silva before the fight. This might seem silly, but many opponents thought they weren't doing any damage to Anderson Silva, and gave up. Example: Chael Sonnen

What other attributes can be taken away from fighters that totally turn a fight?
