Can the UFC hire Ngannou for a single megafight without signing him?

Francis signed a contract with PFL and is under them.

They refuse to afford him because Dana needs that driveway and nose snow.

Why would PFL who they paid a shit load of money to Ngannou to fight in MMA for them and gave him an executive position not allow him to fight for the UFC? This is a serious question?

Because the PFL has a lot to gain from a cross promotion fight with the UFC. As a distant second to the UFC, a cross over fight with the largest MMA promotion in the world would get them much needed exposure.

TS didn't say cross promotion. He thinks UFC can just sign Ngannou to fight whenever they want like PFL doesn't even exist <lmao>

How many years have you been an MMA fan?

MMA operates as a promotion centered sport, meaning, they dont co-promote (at least the UFC doesnt) cause then the guy that doesnt work with the UFC could leave with the belt, or just come and beat the shit out of the champion and leave, leaving either a vacant belt, or the biggest paper champion ever...if they fight for it, the UFC will make sure they are here to stay, if a champion manages to walk away then so be it, but they surely wont allow a guy that doesnt fight for the UFC to come and beat their champion, the UFC brand is bigger than the champions, it hurst them more than whatever benefit they can get, they basically learned it when Conor fought Floyd, and even then, the UFC probably got more fans instead of losing them, not the same if Ngannou comes back and beats whoever holds the HW belt.
Why would either party accept or want this?
Boxing is not MMA if you haven't noticed.
PFL would absolutely be onboard if the UFC wanted the fight.
Its the UFC who wouldnt, the B-side will always take it.
