Seeing how Diaz picked apart The Great Mcgregor who tapped aldo's chin, whether you think it was luck, him (aldo) being impatient, or a fluke... still put him to sleep..
Not to mention his last 5 fights pre aldo..very exceptional... Props to Conor for taking the fight,,clearly out matched that night.
If nate can pick apart lawlor or his next opponent,,, maybe the diaz style finally
Chin/wind/reach/boxing/deadly bjj/confidence/hunger/no roids
Of course in comes the wrestle humping,But im sure they're training to make it more vulnerable to sub, always hunting arm, leg ,neck.
And can't forget them leg kicks that where effective for a while.

Can the Diaz bros style polished to there best, could they get some hardware and hold it,,??
Or your only good as your last win...?
Only time will tell...
As a fan for years, Nate-Diaz-UFC-196-Post-Press-02-750x370-440x310.jpg IrmaosDiaz3-640x480.jpg
always fun to dream...

I think their style is as wildly effective against some styles,as it is totally exposed to others. Their toughness helps to round things out in a bind but...they have holes that i dont think they will ever lose imo.

With a good kick checking game, and some better wrestling fundamentals, both of these guys could be Champions.

I'm gonna say no, but I'd give Nate and especially Nick a 50/50 shot at winning any fight that doesn't get stopped because they're leaking.

No. Modern MMA fighters with strong wrestling, good movement and diverse striking will always be a big problem. See Nate vs. Bendo and RDA. They'll continue to do well against fighters who want to straight up box/brawl or who have weak sub-defense, though.

I believe they are a tough match up for whoever they face. Even strong wrestlers have to fight smart in order to beat them. However in the end I do not believe that they have the total skill set to beat all of the best of the best.

Khabib vs Nate is the fight to make.

LOL NO. There problem is there is rules.

Like 5 rounds.
Like they stop fights if you are bleeding too much.
like they stop fights just because someone is punching you in the face
like you are allow to leg hump/wresltefuck the diaz bros ifor 3-5 rounds and call it a "win"

No rules no time limit no refs diaz bros would be undeafted

nope....unless their opponent is a stand and bang brawler they lose most the time
i know there's going to be a lot of salt for this comment but the truth is the Diaz simply don't have an answer for guys who fight smart and not to THEIR playstyle

Clearly out matched? Did you see Diaz's face? McGregor did just fine. With a few tune ups and a little less cocky going in, he can beat Nate.

I don't mind the Diaz bros. They are tough, high volume strikers with good submission skills. As a fan of the sport, how can you not like watching them?

A couple different factors helped Diaz that night. Patience and durability on Nates end. Over confident and exertion on Conor's end. McGregor talks big, and he fights big. This time, it caught up to him.

He definitely wasn't out of his league though.

let's not get carried away, they've pretty much already proven they can't.

Close.

The Diaz bro's are fantastic, but they aren't beating any elite guys in their weight class. Conor simply isn't all that elite. He's got two good wins, a two week camp Mendes and a fluke KO over Aldo.
