I forgot how fun/challenging it is to read Ukrainian. It takes me a little bit to adjust, but it is fun. Speaking it however.. not so fun ahah. I learned Ukrainian from my mother (she is from there), but I never use it. It sounds nice though, I like how it sounds, but difficult to pronounce a bit because it sounds a bit more like Polish I guess, or Belorussian. Cool language though. If anyone is interested here is Russian wiki pages for Tokov, Amosov and Moldavsky https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Токов,_Анатолий_Александрович https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Амосов,_Ярослав_Александрович https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Молдавский,_Валентин_Игоревич
Amosov's page is also available in Ukrainian https://uk.wikipedia.org/wiki/Амосов_Ярослав_Олександрович
Wikipedia has "notability" requirements (meaning you can't just put anyone you want in there).
I don't know what their rule is anymore, but I know they raised them for MMA fighters at some point since the UFC roster became larger than the population of some small states.
Amateur MMA fighters are not considered notable (unless they can pass WP:GNG under other criteria).
Criteria supporting notability
Criteria supporting deletion
- Have fought at least three (3) professional fights for a top-tier MMA organization, such as the UFC (see WP:MMATIER); or
- Have fought for the highest title of a top-tier MMA organization
- Only amateur bouts
- Few fights for top-tier organizations
I think that should be a group endeavor, no way only one person does all that work.Someone with time should start a wikia for just MMA.
