Can somebody explain to me how Jones could put on that much muscle and still weigh in on 205?

It's not that he had that much fat to lose in the first place. How can this be?

He leaned down for the fights. That extra muscle would prob slow him down which wouldn't fit his style.

Muscle is mostly water, and water is made of hydrogen and oxygen which are really light and gassy. Just basic science bro.

He looked similar Saturday to what he looked like against dc

I don't think he added much muscle. He's certainly more defined, but not bigger. A change in diet and training could easily make that change without adding much in the way of muscle mass.

I expected him to come out bigger than what he was fight night.

Honestly I did not see that much a difference.

How do you know that?
Have you seen JBJ of camp?

He put on like 26g of muscle. He's not a heavily muscled kinda guy. He's strong as fuck cause what muscle he has is strong, and he's got long levers. He's also got good technique and doesn't gas as much as his opponents.

He didn't put on that much muscle dude. He more or less "toned" himself if anything.

He didn't gain much muscle at all. Folks past their first year of resistance training gain muscle very, very slowly. Even if he was hardcore weight training (with no PEDs) for the entire year he was gone, he may have only gained like five pounds of muscle.

PEDs change everything, of course, but we have no evidence that Jones was using any.

he cut some water weight for weigh ins... how do people still not understand the difference between losing / gaining actual weight (fat & muscle tissue) vs. losing water and making a "weight" for all of 2-3 minutes before they start re-hydrating.

It would appear that the idea that he was gargantuan LHW in terms of mass was a lie.

Yup, 26grams is not that much. For those of you not used to the metric system, that's one ounce. :D
