Since he came to the ufc its incredible, the man is now faster stronger better all round and fighting top top guys,

How is this possible at 34 years of age without mexican supplements?

He struck a deal with the illumanti...

He dropped back to WW after about 8 years at MW when he reentered the UFC. I'm sure that that is a big factor.

Well tbf he took the strap on a pretty questionable decision win

Part of it is that he's BARELY winning many of his bouts. He's still incredible, the most entertaining in the company IMO, but he has 3 split decisions and was losing the Rory rematch till the last round KO.

What does Viagra have to do with this!?

Last chance to start new and resurge coming in to UFC and 1 great win (koscheck) boosted motivation. He always had the skills. Also fighting in his true weightclass welterweight

all I will say is that his camp is pretty fishy

He's the best 5th round fighter too at this age,its incredible really, hes tested clean every time too.

Probably much more complex than "being stronger and faster" than everybody.

I also thought TS caught a single tear running down Robbie's face at some point during a fight. Super let down by this thread.

When I opened this thread I honestly thought that you would be referring to this tear.

Somehow nobody has mentioned his move to ATT, which has been tremendous in improving his game.

So you have a guy with great power, athleticism and career experience finally link up with a team capable of rounding out his game.

Personally I think Carlos Condit is the uncrowned king of welterweight, but it is the second deepest division in the sport and it is nothing short of incredible what Robbie has accomplished.

its not hard to have energy in the 5th when you take as many breaks as Robbie, he constantly has long spells where he does almost nothing

He took some 6 years off from sparring, which has certainly helped his longevity. It didn't do wonders for his career at the time, but it's paying dividends these days that he essentially took no unnecessary damage during his athletic prime.

Everyone forgets that his career was very up and down when he was fighting MW's (and a LHW). It's not a coincidence that he started winning consistently when he went back down to WW.
