Can Overeem be champ?

Lets say he gets past arlovski easily and gets a title shot if werdum is still the champion. Can he beeat werdum now? Hes already beat him before so its not like he cant again even though hes not uber now. Or does werdum beat him this time around?.

After counting him out against JDS I'll never do that again but his fight with doom he was getting hit a lot and doom have evolved 10x since then.

Werdum submitted Reem the first time they fought.

The second time Reem got a razor close decision, but that was a beefed up juiced up uber-Reem and Werdum gave him way too much respect in that fight, and still outstruck him.

Today's version of Werdum destroys econo-Reem imo.

I pretty much agree with this. He is so up and down its weird. There was a point there when everybody was calling for the UFC to dump this guy and now he has won a few and the tide has swayed. He's entertaining when he's not fighting Werdum..there last fight was a fucking joke, probably the worst and most boring fight I have ever watched in professional HW match up

I think that was mostly due to Werdum. He just kept falling on the floor begging him to jump in guard. I remember Overeem apologizing and saying it takes two fighters to make a good fight

Its a coin flip same as his fights. 50/50 shot of koing or getting koed. But eventually it will be tails and he will get caught, and the longer you play, the better chance there is of him getting caught. So it depends on when he fights him. If he gets next, then yeah he has a great chance. He's a dynamic striker with good grappling. But if he needs two wins, I think his chances are not good because he wwould have to not get caught for 3 straight fights.
