Has he even been training? I have a hard time beilieving he can last 2 rounds let alone 5 coming in on 11 days notice without training. Weidman looked like crap fighting Maia on short notice and Mendes gassed in 1 round.

Why wouldn't they get Pettis, Ferguson, or Khabib to replace RDA? They've actually been training for their fights in April.

Not sure how well Cowboy would look since he fought 2 days ago but he would definitely be in better fighting shape than Nate. Don't wanna see him get KO'd from another kick to the Budweiser liver though...

Yes, Nate and Nick both are always in great shape. Cardio shouldn't be an issue with Nick. It's still a taylor made excuse.

Khabib wanted his fight with Ferguson (originally March 5th) postponed, because of his bad knees, so it would be lunatic to even believe Khabib that he'd be ready. That was a publicity stunt, nothing more.

Ferguson would be an option, though I believe the UFC is reluctant to pull fighters for FOX main events, because of their deal. Even if they'd make that fight, people would complain about how Ferguson was not yet peaking because he fought one month too early.

Cowboy makes sense the most, he's in shape and he's coming off a win.
It'll likey not answer any questions about McGregor though, given that Cerrone seldom goes for double legs and stuff.

People want to see McGregor against a wrestler, but they're all injured or out of shape, so why even bother.

That fight's a lose-lose for McGregor.
