What if it's deeper than that what if Jon has stuff on the UFC like Woodley says he himself has. I think some fighters know things and threaten the UFC with them. Dana has hated Jon for many years. He's said he'll never headline again for many years. What changed? Why would ESPN want Jon Jones? Shit doesn't add up and the sport is sketchy as fuck now. Wait until the real journalists get a hold of Jon Jones. This man's fall if he pops again or gets KO'd is going to be legendary.

Greatest fighter in the history of the sport and while he needs a rivalry to do great PPV numbers he's a consistant draw the UFC can't really afford to throw away.

Dana was probably speaking out of frustration since Jones's various issues starting with UFC 151 have torpedoed countless events and cost him who knows how many millions of dollars. Even if those events weren't cancelled, Dana needed to replace huge main events with ones that were usually much less profitable.

For example UFC 100 was the biggest card in company history with a loaded card and UFC 200 was going to be a huge event but because of Jones's positive test Dana was forced to replace Jones v DC 2 with what was basically a sparring session with AS.

It's easy to see why Dana might hate him after like four of five of these sort of occurences.

Debatable how someone that isn't licensed and hasn't signed a bout agreement is under anyone's jurisdiction....but Jones was definitely under the NSAC's jurisdiction at the time he tested positive as evidenced by USADA sending that positive test over to the NAC.

Just out of curiosity can Bob Bennett & the Nevada Athletic Commission
strip the championship & suspend Jon Jones at his hearing next month
since he had a drug test irregularity.

Ufc can do whatever they want with their title... might not be “recognized” by the licensing commission... But they can do as they please with their titles..

To strip him they would have to declare the match a no contest or disqualification. they cannot do that because it was not in their jurisdiction

CSAC reportedly wasn't told of his recent failed tests before licensing him so I would think they could overturn it to a NC based on new information.
