Can Joe "Diesel" Riggs make a Comeback!?

I think the UFC still has a grudge against him for missing weight for his title fight with Hughes, and his best days are behind him.

He actualy did make weight but the commission goofed big time on setting the scale right and they asked him to re-weigh in and by that time Joe was so pissed that he drank shit load of water and that was that...

Here is the video:

This is why Dana and the ufc never made a big fuss on the Joe Riggs situation since he did infact make weight the first time but the comission weren't counting right

6 fight win streak, 10 if you include fight master. Riggs has already said making it in Bellator is his comeback.

I've been watching him on Bellator (old series showed in Australia) the guy seems switched on but too old to make a run.

Joe Riggs is my boy! One time he said he was gonna fight for the ufc but he ended up in bellator? Idk, but he also said he wanted to finish his career in the ufc.

His final run is happening right now if ask me....

Sure he can.............................

.............................'t.

His best days may be behind him, but I'd root for him to come back and compete in the UFC.

I've never seen him when he was heavyweight even though I knew he came down, amazing. But I do believe he might be done. He said the if he didn't win the bellator show he was gonna retired. Although he won his fight afterwards got canceled and I haven't heard anything since. Pretty sure with that fight being cancelled he called it quits anyway.

Everytime I see Joe Riggs I only remember those hellbows and brutal GNP he threw against Chris Lytle, but nah I don't think he's UFC caliber anymore, not with the current talent level in the UFC. Back then someone like Riggs was good enough to get a title shot.

Look I'm a diesel fan and would love to see him make a come back, the guy is only 31 years old, it is possible, but he needs a camp that will motivate him and reignite the passion and desire to perform that he used to have.

The real question is can the former opponent of his at heavyweight Herb dean make a come back

I wouldn't have thought Robbie Lawler would be Wreaking Havoc in the UFC welter weight division, so I guess any shit is possible.

My friend, you should never deprive yourself of a Joe "Diesel" Riggs fight! Win or Lose, Joe brings a special touch to the world of mma.

Here is his fight with Cabbage who also happens to be a great fighter as well:

First response nailed it.

He didn't nail shit! Look at Robbie Lawler, he made it back after not being in the ufc since 2004, while Riggs last fight was dec 2006. Riggs CAN make it back to the ufc even if he doesn't fight for the title.

He is still able to go out there and put on a fight!

Unfortunately, much like Lindsay Lohan, he'll never be on top again. Maybe they'll have a moment or two when they recapture their glory, but their days of being consistently great are done.
