Can Daniel Cormier Dominate Jon Jones?

I'm picking Jon Jones as the winner. DC is still totally capable of beating Jon though, it's a fight, but hey... dominating him? Extremely unlikely, not to say impossible.
 
Dominate? Not likely

Win? He has the physical tools / skillset to, yes.

It will depend on his MENTAL state, and his cardio imo.
 
Can? Yes anything is possible. However JJ beat him in a full 25 minute fight less than 1.5 years ago so the chances of him getting dominated are unlikely at best
 
All it takes is one good punch and Jones can be on auto-pilot for the rest of the fight getting his ass kicked all over the cage and YES he can be dominated.

Everyone looks unbeatable until they lose.

Fortunately for Jones, a single elbow from him can put Cormier on the same street.

Thats why this fight is awesome.

Ok, I think we kind of understand each other. First of all when JJ beat him, Cormier gave him a really good beating too! Of course JJ won the fight, I am not going to object against that. Now, let's think about Daniel Cormier's determination and skillset. That guy throws real bombs and he also has a chin! Anyway the first post meant to ask if you think that anyone else except Cormier can possibly win Jones.

Ya i agree first fight wasnt a blow out, notice i simply said "beat." Gustaffson gave him a great fight so he might win a rematch. And rumble hasnt had a shot at jones yet and is the hardest puncher in the division, who knows if jones can survive a rumble connection

Only if he clips Jones and puts him on queer street or can consistently get past his defenses. If he can find a way to bypass his extended hands, oblique kicks, and not get leaned on or hellbowed upside his head then maybe. That is a tall order, and I don't know what possible skills, tactics, and strategy he could use to do that.

Dominate how? Could he get an opportunity and end the fight quickly? I guess he could but it's not likely. As far as dominating Jon for 5 rounds and taking the decision... no, that's not in the realm of possibilities. Jon is just far too much better than DC at every aspect of mixed martial arts. Also try not to hearken back to Jones one close call with Gus. Jon was unprepared for that fight and is obsessed now, Gus has better technical striking than DC and the one thing that makes Jon hesitate... a reach and DC doesn't have that reach. Also if DC did some how beat Jon Jones, he does not win Jon Jones, he can't take Jones home and display him in his trophy chest.
 
Don't see it happening. I dont see how Cormier has gotten any better to think he has a chance against Bones, I actually think Bones will finish Cormier inside of 3 rounds.
 
I thought so the first time, I think he can do it this time, with better game planning
